About Montessori Dance Portugal
What we offer
Dance classes
Self-Discipline and Freedom
Teaching technique through studied sensory materials, flash cards, and an approach that allows for continuous choice of one's own learning path. Providing tools for the autonomous creation of choreography is a priority, starting from the age of 3!
Collaborations with schools
Dancing the school program
Both dance and the Montessori method and are excellent tools to support learning! Collaboration with schools or specific classes, in cooperation with the teacher, has yielded great results in consolidating subjects such as mathematics, language, and environmental studies, as well as science or philosophy for older students.
Workshops
Indoors or outdoors!
We offer one-off workshops in very different locations with tailored approaches, ranging from dance studios to forest schools!
Mentoring for education professionals and dance teachers.
In-person or online mentoring
The Montessori dance approach is a tool that can be integrated into the classroom by educators and teachers, as well as by dance instructors. The method can be included in daily practice, offering excellent advantages for classroom dynamics.
